Tiny Happy Moment for Sunday, July 7: Lazy Weekend Afternoons
Yesterday was just the best. I got up early and went for a run (in a torrential downpour, mind you), then showered. And then the rest of my day was wide open. JW had to work so I had the whole place to myself. I made myself some coffee and breakfast and then read my book for a few hours. Then I went to to grocery store and picked up a few things: raspberries and blueberries for a pie, a few other odds and ends, and then since I’m such a classy broad, a bottle of moscato that was on sale, a bag of Funyons, and one I those $1 frozen pizzas. I went home and enjoyed cheap pizza lunch and continued to read. After a while longer, I cleaned up my kitchen, made pie crust, then a quiche, and then my fruit pie. I also did laundry. Then later I finished my book and went to bed. It was nearly perfect. I got to do what I wanted all day and still managed to get a few things done. It was a great rainy Saturday!
